Yeah, at the show, in the moment - that helps with the perspective. No point trying to persuade anyone, the versions usually weren’t great and I’ll resist saying one just had to be there, because maybe one was, or maybe one would just say “who would want to be?! At the end of the day the recordings are there for us to enjoy / suffer through.

Actually, maybe it was just something I ate.

Liked Gatcia Band's take on Dear Prudence, Other than that The Dead should have left Beatle tunes out. Can't think od one that I even remotely enjoy. Brent singing Hey Jude refrain would probably be useful to the military or the CIA to use as a method of torture.

I have it on good authority that they currently use one of Linda McCartney's wings versions for that purpose.

Also, I have a version with just her vocals that I made in college and I swear I heard it during the waco siege in between mating rabbits and other "fun" sounds.
